Junior is a great reminder of all the things we hope kids learn--accept others for who they are, not what they look like, that being different is okay, and that out there somewhere, someone's gonna love you-warts and all!

Sacramento Beer Week is here to celebrate Sacramento's rich beer culture with more than 200 events, including an kick-off Inaugural Gala at the new Crocker Art Museum on Feb 24. Enjoy beer tastings, beer dinners, food pairings, comedy nights, music, pub crawls, educational events, brewing demonstrations, and more, throughout the week and partake in Sacramento Nightlife scene. Several towns outside of Sacramento are joining as well, so check to see who is celebrating near you!

Beatnik Studios is hosting a juried art show and auction to benefit Sierra Forever Families, a local nonprofit organization whose mission is to transform the lives of children living in foster care by building and nurturing permanent families. The art show and auction is a stunning representation of "Home" with a wide and diverse selection of local artists. The juried art show will take place during the Final Friday event.

The Camellia Symphony Orchesta welcomes the new year with Northern Lights featuring guest soloist David McCarroll performing Sibelius' Violin Concerto. Also on the program is Greig's Lyric Suite and Elgar's Enigma Variations. Maestro Allan Pollack conducts. Arrive when the doors open for a silent auction and wine tasting, followed by a performance by Camellia Juniors Orchestra and a pre-concert talk with Maestro Pollack.
