Make the end of 2010 memorable by exploring exhibits, taking a nature walk, and enjoying the craft room. Kids 12 and under color and assemble a New Year Banner to take home. Remember, this is the last week of our Bone Zone exhibit, where you can learn about skulls, skeletons, and bone health. Bring your camera to capture the fun!

Northport Cottage is a comedic play for the holidays by Buck Busfield. When a desperate young woman climbs into QD's car and demands a ride, little does he know her destination is 384 miles north...and 20 years in the past.

This year the 11th annual Dog & Cat show fundraiser is expanding and adding a Horse to the mix, as The Grace Foundation of Northern California is the chosen charity. Over 30 artists participated and created a dog, cat, or horse in their medium. 20% of the retail price goes to the Grace Foundation.

Enjoy performances by the Bar-Kays, Dazz Band, and Slave for an evening of funk, soul, and R&B.

Ring in the New Year with a new furry family member! The Black & White Purrball strives to bring attention to the many black and black & white felines who are often overlooked at the center. The adoption fee for black and black & white cats will be waived with a donation of cat food. These wonderful adult kitties will be "dressed for the ball" in their best black & white furry formal attire!

Whether it's your first 5K ever, or your first of 2011, please join us for a run/walk to start the New Year off on the right foot! Registration includes a free 5K training plan, t-shirt, swag, sparkling cider toast, raffle entry, and a medal for first-timers and kids. The race culminates with a New Year's toast and an opportunity to write down your personal health resolution for the New Year.
