1. Free: Tall Ship Hawaiian Chieftain, Old Sacramento
A piece of living history has set sail for Sacramento! Learn more about 18th century seafaring during one of the many tours offered on the tall ship.

2. Food/Wine: Tahoe Park Poets & Food Truck Expo, Tahoe Park
Listen to local spoken word poets while chowing down on food truck cuisine inspired from around the world. 

3. Night Life: Jason Alexander, Harris Center for the Arts
The funny man serves up a hilarious variety show featuring stand-up comedy, music and Seinfeld Q & A.

4. Dance: The Firebird with Rite of Spring and Rubies, Community Center Theater
The Sacramento Ballet kicks off the season with this program inspired by the creative brilliance of Russian tradition.

5. Special Events: 27th Annual Safe & Super Halloween: A Hobbit Adventure, Fairytale Town
The amusement park transforms into the magical world of J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit for the Halloween weekend. Watch out for the goblins and orcs!

6. Museums: Day of the Dead Party, California Museum
This special after-hours event features tours with exhibit artists, hors d'oeuvres, face painting and sugar skull demonstrations.

7. Sports/Rec: The Biggest Loser RunWalk Sacramento 5K, Van Vleck Ranch
Here is your chance to workout with former Biggest Loser contestants in this non-intimidating course.

8. Special Events: Midtown Halloween Festival & Pooch Parade, Marshall Park
The Midtown Business Association presents this bewitching good time for kiddos and doggies alike.

9. Special Events: Uncork for the Arts, Antiquite Maison Privee
This wine tasting and exhibit benefits the Developmental Disabilities Services Organization's arts programs.

10. Museums: Trunk or Treat, California Auto Museum
Museum car trunks will be filled with candy at this all-ages event that also includes a scavenger hunt and scary haunted house!
